Managing Mind Chaos
Struggling with “mind-racing”, even when the body is entirely still? Don’t give up: mind chatter is not due to excess distraction or user error, but entropy and how it functions in the human body (and the whole universe!). Discover scientifically-based knowledge and related practices for more effective meditation. This 2-3 hour workshop consists of presentation and discussion, followed by practices designed to progressively invite the mind into its peaceful, inherent state: pranayama (breathwork) leading to meditation, then restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra.

Restorative Yoga
Restorative workshops provide opportunities to balance energy, reduce stress and grow in mindfulness practice. The body is taken to stillness with complete support, allowing for deep rest and rejuvenation, with your invitation to become more “in tune” with the needs of your body and mind. Typically 2-3 hours, this workshop begins with introduction and group discussion of practice, gentle yoga as warmup, one extended restorative pose, finishing with supported deep relaxation (savasana) and Yoga Nidra.
